I’m still producing videos. For fun and for good causes to help people out. Today just about all of us have television studios in our pockets. My current “studio” is an iPhone 14 Pro. I use both iMovie and VideoLeap to edit.
Puffins on Skomer Island Wales
Our trip to Wales included a day trip to Skomer Island near St David. Goal was simple. Puffins. Lots of Puffins! Mission accomplished. I shot this with my iPhone 14 Pro, edited using iMovie.

We hike to Sgwd yr Eira Waterfall in Wales
Переглядів 1519 годин тому
While some of our gang attended the Taylor Swift Concert in Cardiff Wales, the rest of us had a wonderful hike. Rugged? You bet. But 3 generations from 3-74 made the trip just fine. As always these busy travel days ‘round the world I shot this with my iPhone 14 Pro, edited using iMovie on my iPad Pro.

Cresswind Model Railroad Club Member John Ramatowski has a terrific O-Scale Layout at his place. John is also active with the club’s HO Scale Modular Railroad set up. Great examples here that regardless of scale, it’s a wonderful hobby!
D Day Plus 80

In 2017 we traveled on a Band of Brothers Tour beginning in Normandy, continuing on to Eagles Nest in Germany. We followed the path of “Easy Company” of the 101st Airborne. Much earlier I had the privilege to interview Carwood Lipton, played by Donnie Wahlberg in the HBO series. Just a regular, humble guy who did incredible and heroic things when he jumped out over Normandy 80 years ago. In thi...
N Scale 844 / Big Boy Sound
Переглядів 562 місяці тому
Combining my two favorite hobbies: Model Railroading and Video. Main scene is my N Scale KATO UP Excursion Train arriving at Saddlestring WY. Lower right in the frame is a video I shot of UP’s Big Boy getting ready to depart Cheyenne WY for the Golden Spike Event in 2019. Audio for both from the Big Boy video. The consist did include the 844. UP’s Ed Dickens of course at the control! Video is a...

New Zealand ‘24 - A wonderful adventure
Переглядів 522 місяці тому
We had the most extraordinary time in our March ‘24 visit to New Zealand. 16 days in country and while not sharing here everything we saw and did, these are highlights of things we’ll never, ever forget. Of note, ALL the video was shot on my iPhone 14 Pro and edited using iMovie. I spent my career in television news and corporate communications. The transition from big and bulky production gear...
Aboard the Steamship TSS Earnslaw
Переглядів 302 місяці тому
A coal fired passenger steamship in 2024? Yep. The TSS Earnslaw was built back in 1912 and sails today on Lake Wakatipu NZ. Our journey took us to the Walter Peak Farm where we had a delicious buffet lunch. A nice trip.
We Parasail over Bay of Islands NZ

A great way to see the Bay of Islands in New Zealand is up in the air, at 1300 feet. Parasailing. Ride along with us, a grand adventure in the air.
We visit Whakarewarewa - The Living Maori Village
Переглядів 822 місяці тому
A special stop during our trip to New Zealand was Whakarewarewa. A Māori Village first occupied around 1325 and still home for these native people of New Zealand. Located near Rotorua, it is a most special place. Like Indigenous populations around the world, they have been mis-treated, challenged by those wanting to claim their land. But they survive today, and knowledge and understanding keep ...

New Zealand Travel on Interislander Ferry
Переглядів 82 місяці тому
New Zealand is two islands. A great way to journey between both is the Interisland Ferry. We had great weather and smooth sailing for our trip in March of ‘24. You actually travel East to West to so… South! Went for still shots to document our trip, great views inside and out. As you see in the video, when you board head quickly to Deck 7 and the stern of the Ferry. You’ll enjoy very nice seati...
Cruising Milford Sound / Piopiotahi
Переглядів 203 місяці тому
Milford Sound / Piopiotahi was formed by millions of years of glaciation. Milford Sound attracts between 550,000 and 1 million visitors per year.[27][28] This makes it one of New Zealand's most-visited tourist spots even with its remote location and long journey times from the nearest population centers. Our tour group traveled 4 hours by bus from Queenstown to get there. Worth the trip! Shot t...

I'm russian. My gran died in WW2. Rest in peace to all of those soldiers. Thanks for this video.
🫡🇺🇸❤️
Emme !
The F-4 was a pig of a plane...mediocre at everything...designed by committee.
I salute you all!
Very nice. I appreciate a good video and that was a very good thanks.
Love the video Brian, keep em' coming - Gav
Thank you for your service captain . In 1960-63 i was a plane captain at pax river naval air center. At that time we were required to pull flight time each month. Belive me. I took full advantage of the back seat of the F-4 H PHANTOM we were testing. Flying with the test pilots it was without a doubt the most exciting time of my 81 years!! Two of the pilots i flew with was at that time Lieutenant JJ OLSEN and Lieutenant commander Tibbs Both US NAVY. Thank you for bringing it all back to me!!
So question, did anyone retrieve the P38 that went down and the accident in 500 feet of water?
I have no idea
Well done indeed!
I’m glad I came across this video. I grew up 6 miles to the west of Venlaw near grifton. I have always wondered what that little building is for beside the church. There sure isn’t many family gatherings this size in the area anymore. Fond memories of the 80s-90s In this area.
Love seeing B&M. So many people do the wildly overrated UP and NS.
Merry Christmas to you and your family!
I wonder what outfits they flew in? I was in the 14th Fighter Group. 49th fighter Squadron, 15th Air force Foggia Italy.
Cool video. Merry Christmas!
Beautiful arrangement. Sounded great. Merry Christmas!
Fun
All top US military & civilian officials & politicians SCREWED-UP BIG-Time in uncountable ways before the war and especially the rampant incompetence during first TWO YEARS of WW-II. Tens of thousands lives lost needlessly . It’s too depressing to enumerate all the incompetencies of all leadership across the board !!! 😠😣😖😡
Wow. Beautiful club layout. Thanks for sharing.
i thought it was a woman. only a plane jockey would think that. hehehehehehe love these guys! bless them all!
Greatest video ever!
Thank you for documenting and sharing.
WOW!! BEAUTIFUL!!!
Love it!! Thank you for sending them xx
Bless both men's souls, but Mr. Arnold was dead wrong about us never going to invade Japan. I don't think he ever realized how different the Pacific war was from the European war. Night and day difference. My dad, a Seabee on Saipan and Tinian, helped build the pits used to load the atomic bombs on Enola Gay and Bock's Car.
Yea, the Japanese on a lot of the islands US forces took on the drive across the Pacific were starving and they didn't surrender, they fought to the last man, I don't know why he thinks mainland Japan would have been any different. The fact is the fire bombing of those cities was far worse than the atomic bombs, one of the diabolical things they did on those raids were the bombers didn't over fly in formation, they did it at night in a stream, the very first one's were called Pathfinders, they'd drop their incendiary bombs first, then there'd be a gap before the rest would stream in, one of the reasons for the gap was to give the Japanese fire fighter's time to get to what'd been set on fire, then when the main force would start streaming in they targeted what was already on fire which included the Japanese fire fighter's being in the immediate area, that's about as brutal as it gets. And he is right about them being starved to death, most people don't know about Operation Starvation, B29's mined all the harbors and ports so their ships couldn't bring in the raw materials and food they needed from the area's they'd captured in Indochina and other area's, I've seen the statistics, the last few months what was coming into Japan was something like 2 or 3 percent of what'd been coming in throughout most of the war, not only their military machine but also their people were starving. However, they had 5,000 planes and the fuel for them in reserves just for being used as Kamikaze's when the invasion of mainland Japan started, so no, they had no intention of giving up starving or not.
What key is this in ? Hard to tell.

You forgot to include the number of Vietnamese killed at the end of the video.

yes now remember Vietnam, Korean war, Afghanistan, Mexican American war, American natives war, America and imperial Japan vs samurai and all the wars you have in Africa, Happy Birthday USA!!!
I've been one of the last airworhy B-17s. I can tell you with those windows it is HOT and sweaty. Admittedly we weren't at 20000ft.
Thank you for your service sir!
I remember the f 4 dropping there bombs swooping down an the 20 mm Gatlin gun they were a great help for a infantry man like me below
I knew Regensburg was gonna be on his mind. My father was in the same exact spot this fellow was only in a B-24J out of Manduria, Italy(450th BG "Cottontail Liberators") and he told me the bombing of Steyr and Regensburg during "Big Week" and later on the railroad yards at Ploesti were the ones he was thankful to get through.
I am an F4E weapon systems technician veteran from way back when. Still find the F4 to be one of the most imposing looking fighters ever built. Great to hear this veteran pilot talk about his experiences.
Go, Brian, says David.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Beautifully done. 💜 Artistry.
This is a really great video about a hero and his wonderful fighter
Very cool
guy~ Bonjour! Thank you! breathtaking masterpiece. :)
thats crazy bro
Terry here on my wife’s IPad. They are showing an F-4E, yet it has a -15, J79 engines installed.E models had - 17 engines. Having crewed ole’ smokiest for 10 years and changed many engines on all models.. In & out is the easiest part. Prepping the bays was another story..
𝐩яⓞ𝓂𝓞Ş𝐦 😢
Of all the fighter aircraft that have served in my lifetime (since 1954), the Phantom is the one I'd most like a ride in.
I certainly applaud the way Wings has it on display and what a backdrop for an F4 pilot to share his story.
Didn’t realise that there is over 1500 MIA.
I salute you
This was fantastic.. salute to you sir
Great stuff - I want to see more!
Very good and interesting any possibility of interviewing N. Vietnamese Mig pilots to get their experience of air combat in N Vietnam?
You make a good point, I’ll pass it on.
@@ConversationStartersVideo It would make for a great story there's always 2 sides to a war. And these Vietnamese pilots are getting old and won't be around much longer. Great interviews you have.
